The Strip has a length of approximately 5 kilometres and its ends are the Stratosphere Tower in the north, and the MGM Grand hotel and the New York-New York hotel in the south. With the continuous growth of Las Vegas, it can be understood that the Strip ends at the Mandalay Bay hotel in the south, very close to the famous “Welcome to Las Vegas” sign.

In addition to hotels, on Las Vegas Strip you will find one of the most visited shopping centres in the city: Fashion Show Mall. In its lower floor, you will find clothing stores and in the upper restaurants and fast food chains.

Its’ lights appeared in dozens of films. Until the end of the 20th century, when the Strip won the battle, Fremont Street appeared in numerous famous films. If your stay in Las Vegas for only two or three days, you probably won’t have enough time to get close to the old part of the city. But if you stay a bit longer you should not miss a visit to Fremont Street. The best option is to go there at night and enjoy Fremont Street Experience.

The motto of the city is “What happens in Las Vegas, stays in Las Vegas” and if you smoke weed in Vegas or lose a lot of money in one of the “Howetls”, it is a motto that must be followed.
